Hi. My name is Frog [He/Him]. I speak English and Spanish, and am currently learning German. I would like to one day work as a translator, though currently I work as a farmer. I have a lot of interests, my main ones being history, geography, and lingusitics. I am currently obsessed with espionage, specifically Cold War espionage. I'm very new to coding, but this is quite fun, especially when it actually works!
I'm in a few fandoms, though I don't consider myself to be super active in any of them online. I mostly just enjoy the media and sometiems draw for myself.
Spy x Family is an anime about a spy named Agent Twilight who must pretend to be married and have a child for a secret operation in the enemy country of Ostania to gain intel during a cold war scenario. The main two countries are Ostania and Westalis, named after and inspired by East and West Germany. The anime is rated PG-14 and can be watched on Netflix in Europe (Norway has an English dub) or on Crunchyroll. It combines action with slice of life, and I think personally it's a really good anime for anyone who is interested in espionage or cute slice of life, or both! It's also one of the only anime that has very minimal fan service :D. There's an awesome fan wiki linked on the image, you should check it out! My personal favourite character is the unnamed lieutenant.
Yes.. I know. No, it's not hentai. Yes, I know this anime has an abysmal reputation. This anime, justifiably, has a reputaion for being extremely racist. The actual content of the show is not even that racist (except for that one scene...), the reputation comes from some of the older fans who did some questionable things. However, I stil like the anime a lot, despite how painful it is at times. As a lover of history, I think there is nothing better than personifying countries into cute boys and making them kiss. Enough said. 18+, can be found on Crunchyroll, also the entire anime + movie is free on Internet Archive. I made a playlist of it here. The manga is also free to read here.
I'm probably not making a very good case for myself. But oh well. Centricide is a web series by the YouTuber Jreg starring the four edges of the political compass in their battle against the centrists. I linked the Internet Archive page thats mostly complete, but it's missing the last parts of episode eight and all of CentriSides. I suggest watching the director's cut of episode eight, which you can watch here. I am unable to find CentriSides available anywhere aside from YouTube. My personal favourite character is Commie. Anyway, while writing this I fell into an IA rabbit hole, so I think I'll make a new page and link it right here.
